It has been 18 years since that tragic day and we all remember exactly where we were that morning in 2001. Please take a moment to remember the nearly 3000 people that were killed in New York, Washington, D.C. and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The victims came from all religions and all corners of the world. We lost fellow citizens on four passenger jets, the twin towers of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.  In every venue, there were amazing stories of courage and heroism. Some were lost but their memories still inspire us.

September 11th is now called Patriot Day.  Please join us in observing the national moment of silence at 8:46am, which is the time the first plane struck the North tower of the World Trade Center.  Remember those we lost. Remember the heroes. Remember their families. And remember how we came together as a nation. We have a very precious gift - the gift of freedom. The freedom to speak our minds. The freedom to worship as we choose. And the freedom to pursue our dreams.

May God Bless You and Your Families
and May God Bless America!
